Central Provident Fund Board  (Aug. 2023 – Dec. 2024)

Designer and Full Stack Developer, Intern    

• Designed and developed draftCentral, a web service using data and Generative AI that reduced customer service email processing time from 2 hours to 5 minutes.

• draftCentral was a finalist in Google Trailblazers, a competition hosted by Google for government GenAI projects.

• Designed and iterated through low-fidelity and medium-fidelity prototypes using Figma.

• Developed a working GenAI-integrated Rich Text Editor, enabling users to edit emails with GenAI assistance.

Tap Tiles Pte. Ltd.  (June 2022 – Present)

Co-Founder & Chief Information Officer

• Co-founded Tap Tiles, a sustainable product design start-up that develops electricity and data-producing tiles for smart cities.

• Developed a real-time data management system using Firebase and Python to visualize and organize footfall data from the tiles.

• Responsible for data management systems, finance, and the development of interactive games using the tiles.

• Secured SGD$50k funding for Tap Tiles through the Create4Good (C4G) social innovation program.

Ling Kwang Home  (May. 2021 - August. 2021)

Assistant Health Care Associate

• Engaged with an average of 30 elderly residents daily for 120 days during the COVID-19 pandemic, enhancing their well-being through games, conversations, and assistance with feeding.

• Processed over 200 purchase orders in collaboration with the procurement department, ensuring efficient organization and transport of logistics and supplies.

Tik Tok Hackathon Challenge 2023 (Sep. 4 – 9. 2023)

Designer and Front-end Developer

• Achieved 5th place (USD$1000) for a project to enhance e-commerce by creating novel and interactive storefronts for Tik Tok shops.

• Designed and developed a replica of Tik Tok shops using Figma and React.

• Spatial Design Studio – Exhibition Design Tool (Singapore Art Museum)

• Lead Developer & Researcher (Sept 2024 – Dec 2024)

• Developed an AI-driven floor plan optimizer that streamlines exhibition spatial planning for curators at the Singapore Art Museum (SAM).

• Designed and implemented interactive 2D and 3D spatial visualizations, integrating thematic and narrative relationships between artworks.

• Automated SCDF safety compliance checks, reducing last-minute redesigns during fire inspections.

• Built a physics-based graph system to generate optimized exhibit layouts, enhancing curatorial storytelling and visitor experience.

• Led the integration of taxonomy-based recommendations using OpenAI GPT-4o, allowing curators to explore artwork relationships dynamically.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy engaging in activities that fuel my creativity and well-being. I play Japanese and Singaporean mahjong, indulge in photography, and participate in various racquet sports. I am passionate about science, love making coffee, and enjoy exercising, hiking, and cycling. Currently, I am learning Korean and Japanese and working on my new data science start-up. I am dedicated to continuous learning and feel fortunate to contribute to this wonderful world.
